Individuals who enter into a United
Association five year apprenticeship program are part of a
select group of men and women motivated to learn the
complex and challenging trade while upholding the ideals
of trade unionism.
UA apprentices
receive a strong general education background in the
trade, with core basics such as related mathematics and
related science.
UA Local 502 apprentices also receive
the opportunity to obtain an Associates Degree in Applied
Science from Ivy Tech Community Colllege at no cost.
requirements for applying
A) Must be at least Eighteen (18) years of age
B) Must have a High School Diploma with a minimum of 1 year of Algebra or have completed a GED program
C) Must have a valid driver's license
All applicants are required to take a WorkKeys Assessment Test and an Attitude Assessment test. These tests will be scheduled by the Training Center and will cost the applicant thirty dollars ($30.00) that will be due at the time of the tests.

To be considered for the 2012 Apprenticeship, complete applications must be received by the Training Center no later than 4PM on Thursday, February 9th, 2012.
